Part of the beauty of gWorkspace is that it is OS, device and application-agnostic, meaning your team can run different Operating Systems, different computers or different browsers and still be able to use gWorkspace. gWorkspace is also accessible on several tablets and smartphone devices, with many more planned.

By activating versioning on your files, backups are automatically made so if you lose your file or make a mistake on the file, you can retrieve a previous version of the file. Unlike some other storage providers, this is provided to you at no additional cost.

gWorkspace has now been integrated with gDashboard. Now, any energy runs done within gEnergy are viewable within gWorkspace, as well as an overview of all runs made on your project.

Project access permissions for your gWorkspace are controlled by you. Therefore, you maintain full control over who has access to your data. You can remove and restrict access rights for any user at any time depending on the individual requirements of each project.

Authentication mechanisms are provided to ensure that data is kept secure from unauthorized access. Objects can be made private or public, and shared to specific users.

All data sent and received by greenspaceLive™ is via SSL as well as the servers residing behind sophisticated firewalls.

Physical Security

Physical access is strictly controlled both at the perimeter and at building ingress points by professional security staff utilizing video surveillance, state of the art intrusion detection systems, and other electronic means.

Authorized staff must pass two-factor authentication no fewer than three times to access data centre floors. All visitors and contractors are required to present identification and are signed in and continually escorted by authorized staff.

Backups

Data stored in gWorkspace is backed up in multiple physical locations across the world as a normal part of our service and at no additional charge.

If you delete a file or folder by accident, the file can be recovered from our backups of your gWorkspace, so you never have to worry about accidents ruining your hard work within your portfolio.
